Some common questions:

If you’ve never been to a church before, it might all seem a bit strange and weird to you. That’s ok! We welcome everyone, no matter your religion, race, age or experience. You won’t be asked to pray or read the Bible out loud – you can participate in what you want. We’d love to welcome you and get to know you, so expect some friendly faces. We regularly have visitors coming simply to check out what happens at CHBC, and that’s fine with us! If you’ve been to a church before, or call yourself a follower of Jesus, you’ll find us relaxed and relatively informal. We are committed to teaching about Jesus faithfully, and loving all those we meet.

No, just bring yourself and a willingness to listen and meet some friendly people. At CHBC we have Bibles for you to use, morning tea for you to enjoy after the 9.30am service and sometimes dinner after the 5pm service!

No. The work we do at church is funded by those who call Castle Hill Baptist Church their home. You might hear us remind those in our church family about money matters, but as a visitor we’d love to welcome you at church without you feeling that we want your money!

We’d love to get in touch and help. You can send us a message or give us a call – our details are on our ‘contact us’ page.

For Kids

Come as a family to find a seat in church. We’ll all start in together, then part way through the service, kids from 3 years to Year 8 go out to Sunday School.

We think kids need Jesus the same way adults do. That’s why we take seriously our responsibility to partner with parents in discipling them.

Safe Ministry

God loves all people, which means He wants what’s best for them. And we do too! So as a community we strive to make church a safe place, especially for kids.

All staff and volunteers who work in Children’s Ministry are required to comply with all safe ministry practices.
